So, to start, I’m a 50-ish gay man from Orlando, FL. I have grew up in a small town in Arkansas named Gentry and that is what I consider my hometown.
I have been with my now-husband sense 1994 and we were finally able to get married on October 3, 2015. (Thank You SCOTUS!)
For the last few months, I have been going through treatment for Squamous, Non-small Carcinoma (Lung Cancer) thanks to 32 years of relentless smoking. My treatments are going well and have no fear of loosing this battle. I’m not depressed, quite the opposite, I’m going through events that most won’t and I can pass on my knowledge and hope to those that are or could be effected by Cancer of some kind.
Contained on this site are my thoughts and feelings as I move through the process of healing. I have no fear of failure but time will only tell. My hope is that through me, someone else can know that this is not the dreaded disease it once was and that, thanks to modern meds and new tech, there is hope for anyone that is suffering from from this or some other form of cancer.
